My Mom doesn't accept emo

I am emo but my mum hates emo . she buys me girly stuff and I have a bright pink playboy room and I hate it any advice

Answer #1

I am considered ‘emo’ and it took my mom a while to accept it. It helped when I sat down with her and told her I didn’t cut myself. That is probabley what your mom is worried about.

Answer #2

Answer #3

Answer #4

Answer #5

maybe you should tell her that those playboy simbols create far more damadge to a childs mind than emo. emo is generally a genre of music and now a style of dressing. tell your mum it has nothing to do with self harm (thats probably why shes against it) because self harm is in its own seperate catagory. I would tell her that those playboy simbols are disgusting and tend to make children grow up faster than they should (in a lot of ways…but thats my opinion) try and make her understand that there really is nothing wrong with being emo

Answer #6
