Oh wow, hun, you are sooo young to be thinking about birth control and sex. But the thing is, if you are determined that you are going to have sex (please take time to think this through), you are atleast being responsible as far as trying to get on birth control.

Educate yourself on birth control before talking to Mom (or, before talking to her again, if you already have once).

Here is a good link: http://kidshealth.org/teen/sexual_health/contraception/contraception.html

Good luck to you - and please, be SURE before you make any decisions.. =)

Tell your parents to take you to the doctor. Tell the doctor that your periods are irregular and its making it hard because you get your period at weird times and its embarassing. The doctor will offer some input on a diet change or something and/or say to try birth control to see if it helps. You say you’ll try it. Wait a few months (they come in packs of 3 months) Say yay, they worked. And keep you on them.

Remember take them for at least a week before having sex.

Also if you are only thirteen. I wouldnt advise having sex. Its emotional and hard to deal with. Not everyone is doing it. Keep that in mind. Hope I helped.

Answer #3

Tell her that you want to be protected if you were to have sex.

Answer #4

are only what…13? 14? You shouldnt really be having sex, and I can totally understand why she doesnt want you on birth control But you need to explain to her, that you are going to have sex, but you want to be safe. Maybe this way, she will understand that you are being mature about the situation.
