My hampster is screaming and whining in his cage is he lonely?

I have had 2 hampsters before. I baught this one last night. I hold him he is tame. I put him into his cage he screams and whins… Is he lonely? Does he not like his cage? None of my others ever made this noise. I am worried he may be in pain.

He could have too much attention and doesnt like being Ignored…Thats may is whats wrong with him…if some animals been having too much attention they will want more and more and they will try to do anything to get the attention they want

Well if he is just a baby, maybe he needs more attention. I don’t think he is in pain, but you may want to take him to a vet to get checked out. Best of luck :)

There isnt a vet near me that will look at hampsters. He is older I baught him at meijer. But thanks!
