My guinea pig refuse to move his legs

My piggy is bout 5 months. He recently got his right leg injured. It swelled up and therefore I noticed he stopped eating. I took him to the vet a day or two after I saw his swelled up foot. The vet proscribed me antibiotics and a painkiller. After a week I noticed the swelling went down. But then, I also noticed that his other leg was partially paralyzed. He refuses to use both his legd now, but his eating habits and defaecation is still normal. what do you propose I do because I dont think I can get much help around here. The vets do not specialise in exotic/small animals.

Since you don’t know the exact injury to the leg…but the anitbiotics cured the infection going on, he may just be crippled, now. That doesn’t mean he won’t live a long and happy “piggy life”…just that he’ll do it with a “piggy limp”: As long he eating, then he’s feeling good…so don’t worry that he’s in pain…he’s not.
