When animals die, do they go to heaven?
Revelations speaks of the armies of Heaven riding white horses, so, why would there be horses, and no other animals??
I don't think it is a coincidence that the word dog spelled backward is God.
Not that I believe God is a dog, heaven forbid, but, a dog loves unconditionally. You can be mean to him, reject him, not feed him, and he will still love you. I think God designed it that way, along with the name, as a word picture to us of his love.
it says in the bible that the lion will sit w/ the lamb.. yes this could be a metaphor.. saying enemies will sit w/ enemies. but why did he use animals in saying that. why wouldnt he just say enemies will sit w/ their enemies. hehe
Only Mankind is endowed with a eternal spirit, That is what of us was created in the image of God. I'm afraid the Horses in revelation are only figurative used to explain something in terms we can ubderstand. . . .
No. When dogs... or anyone or anything dies, they go in the ground... they are dead, there is no afterlife. sorry to dissapoint you.
I believe that animals with a close bond with a humain will go to heaven. Think of it like when you die you take them with you.
jaceb is right of course, but if you believe in a fantasy world called heaven anyway, you might as well let pets go there too.
Sorry, I don't know the answer but I just wanted to say that I found your question very moving...
