How do I deal with my family disrespecting me?

So I went to my dads this weekend and out of nowhere my sister says something negative about me and my dad starts lecturing me about how im such a horrible daughter like I think im so high and mighty. My sister also screws up too but I never rub in her face or anything but its annoying to deal with this bs. My family considers having a tone or yelling at anyone older than you is seriously disrespectful..even if your right. How do I solve this?

Sit down with the most rationl person in your family. Whoever is the most willing to listen to what you have to say. Tell them that this is how you feel and you don’t know what to do. They should understand. Family is…difucult… But overall, they’re not there to make your life hell, no matter how much it seems like it.. add me :)
