My dog pees in my house

Ok we had my dog a year and a half. He has peeded for the first week or so but then we trained him to go outside. now 1 year later he is peeing all over the house again but he still goes outside. is there anything I can do to stop him

Has your dog been neutered? If not there may be a female in the area that is in heat. The pheromones may be in the air and he is picking up on them. Even a neutered male will react to a female in heat by peeing a lot. She marks than he does. Even if the female is not where you can see her, the male dog can pick up on her scent for some ways off.

You can correct him. He knows he shouldn’t do it. You can crate him or go to the Pet store and spend a lot of money on products that don’t work that well.

are you spending lots of time with him?, or there could be something wrong with him. Do you guys take him for a walk at least a day. That affects my dog.
