my dog has been throwing up today and is very restless.

I am very worried cause it is midnight and no vet is open. he is about three years old and is like my own child. he has been a very healty dog so for. has never had to go to vet for anything like this before. he is an inside dog but today we let him enjoy the nice day outside while we done yard work and I did see him eating some grass. however he was also eating acorns, could that be the problem? I do not know why but he loves eating acorns all of a sudden. he got sick the other day and I figured it was from the acorns but now he is acting so hyper like, and even doing his lil doggie cry. you know the one I am talking about not a bark but ummm sound. lol please help. I read somewhere I could give him pepto do you know if that is so. thank you!

I would make a vet apt as soon as you can in the morning.. Dose he seem constipated?? If so try mixing a table spoon of canned pumpkin and also one of vegetable oil in a bit of food. It will help loosen him up if the pine cones are blocking him up but wont be immediate. If not just keep an eye on him tonight and take him to the vet tomorrow. If it gets worse.. most vets have an emergency number you can call for advice. good luck
