My cycle

I am 34 years old and I have had a period since the age of 9. like clockwork I come on every 21 days. since july of 2008 I have not had a regular period I have just been spotting off and on. No I am not pregnant I have not had sex since february and I had my regular pap smear test done in may. Either I am spotting or having big blood clots is this normal for a woman my age.

It is very common for a woman of any age… but not normal.

That doesn’t mean it is very serious - most times it is not.

The lining of the womb should be checked out by a professional person… it doesn’t take long and they can assure you and put anything right that’s wrong very quickly.
