My cat doesn't no how to use her claws! Halp!

So we have bengle cat (very soft and pretty) and she just turned 1 about 3 weeks ago. She doesn’t understand how to use her claws! She isn’t declawed and when she gets hooked on someone’s clothes or on a blanket, she just yanks until the thread snaps. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to help her learn? Also, she can’t open doors… Like if theyr cracked a little, she can’t open them…

I once again agree with Phrannie, she will find her tools and learn how to use them.

Yes…that’s normal…as for the doors…maybe she’s just a littler slower than most… :)
