Has anyone used Bag Balm on their dogs or cats?

Has anyone used Bag Balm on their dogs or cats? If so, what problems did you use it for, and what were the results?

Answer #1

I’ve used it on my cat because the pads of his paws were dry and cracked. The bag balm took a while to work, but it worked well. I had to apply it every day, or every other day, and after a little while I started to see a difference.

I have never met another person that seemed to love Lucy as much as me. Iknow this doesn’t have anything with your bag problem, but I just wanted to let you know, I’m a huge fan of hers as well.

I used it on myself for years. It is a medicated vaseline. It is used for skin irriations. Now I use A & D ointment it helps heal better (under a bandaid). Farmers use it on the teats of cows when they become irritated from milking machines. It helps prevent mastitis. If it is anything more than a mild irritation or redness I would have a vet look at them. It wont work on mange or similar conditions.
