Muscle and Fat
I have always felt fat. I am 13 about 150-157cm tall and weigh 44.4 kilograms. My top half is sortof skinny but my thighs are to me, really big. I have muscle in my arms and calves but because my stomach is skinny but has a little bulge and my thinghs are fattish I was wondering if there was a way to minimize the flab before I build up muscle. can you suggest a routine to go by with exercises or a few websites with certain things 2 do about these problems. I also wanted to know how to not build up muscle on fat. xD :)
yuh must run everyday for an hour and you will build musel
Girls don’t naturally build up a lot of muscle unless you are taking steriods or similar. It’s a common myth that doing weights will make you bulky. They won’t. It is important to do strength training to ensure your bones are strong. You also can’t pick where your body loses fat from. It will make that decision for itself. To best get rid of fat you need to do high-intensity cardio every day. This is what my trainer told me as I also am working on my thighs. He said the quickest way to burn fat is to run. Run as much as you can & as fast as you can - you have to push yourself to keep going even when it gets tough. I run for 45 mins 5 times a week and include hills to work my legs even harder. Also do squats. Put your feet shoulder width apart and slowly lower yourself as though you are about to sit on a chair. Hold it and keep your back straight. Slowly rise and do 3 sets of 15. It will start to hurt your legs but it works well if you do it regularly. It tones your legs without making them at all bulky. Also try not to be too hard on yourself. At your age it is easy to be too critical of yourself when girls are so obsessed with body image. Focus on being healthy.
I used to have big thighs and skinny legs just like you. im 13 now and its mainly muscle. I am really sporty and I take part in almost every sport you can think of. however I have done sailing for a number of years and that has greatly strengthen the top of my legs. however, I think if you just do a reasonable amount of sport. possibly find a sport that you like that also strengthens your legs. (MAKE SURE THE SPORT IS SOMETHING YOU LIKE!!) gd luck xx
YEA DO a lot OF RUNNING AND FRONT LUNGES :)
