How do mp3 files become of CD quality again once they are burnt onto a CD-R or RW?

Answer #1

From what I know the burning program recodes them back to the more simple code used for music CDs. If the mp3 has enough quality. Most cd players now how ever can read mp3 files off a disk, which means you can put much more music on a single disk, 15-20 songs for CD quality, up to 50 or even more for a mp3 disk. Your player will say right on it MP3 if it can use that kind of disk. Most computers can burn mp3s with simple drag and drop.
