Legally if you’re 18 or have an approved emancipation order from the Court.

TEXAS LAW:

Age Emancipation petition allowed: under age 18 Age of Majority: 18 § 154.001; § 54.0501

well unless your parents make a big deal out of it the cops wont bug you. since you’ll be 18 by the time a run away chage went to court..at seven teen and four months they will leave you alone unless like I sadi your parents got on them..

I think that you should just stay at home and contiue your studies. There won’t be anywhere for you to go where you’ll get everything handed to you. Yes, a friend will probably provide you with a living space, but that won’t last long, because it’s most likely that they’re living at home, too. And if your friend has their own space then that’s a less of a chance that they’ll give you everything for free because they know what it’s like to work hard and get the things they want.
