Who here knows how hard it is to move a company from one location to another?

I have changed our address on what feels like 30 sites, you have to go hit all the map programs out there as well, and there are all these little site that pick up your info. Our Spa is 12 years old, things buld up.

It is very time consumeing and no fun to do

hmm, I would think that it wouldnt be that hard…Post office should send all mail to the new address.

If you have sites, I would have said just update the addresses on the sites. Whom ever clicks on them, will see the new address on site.

As for clients, I would say have to go the old fashion way…write up a small e-mail explaining the changes & where you guys are moving to and fwd it to all of your important clients as a reminder!

As for maps, that can be a tricky one, I am clueless on that one, sorry hun! (on second thought maybe you can ask or update Google or Yahoo?! just a suggestion)

Well I know how to do it, it just takes lots of time, and you have to make accounts on sites that have linked to you so you can change the info, as I the three of us have been working on this for a week, and there is still a tone of stuff to do.

I know what you mean, we had to do that when we moved our computer company its a hassle. we were renting a space in one of our clients offices in Midtown Manhattan, but the other company wanted to move into a smaller place…ugh…was a real B!tch, let me tell you. But that is the only way to do it. Takes patience & time…nerve wrecking…then have to update business cards, fliers, magnets & local papers…order stickers I know it is a hassle…My heart goes out to you all… Look on the bright side, in the end, it will be all worth it. You will look back at this a year from now & see it a success, blooming & say wow, remember when we moved…how annoying that was…look at us now…and have a great laugh!
