What do i do about my mother and her new boyfriend?

My mum has a new boyfriend and they are constantly talking on the phone and the computer, but he makes her happy which has never happened so i am happy for her but out relationship has changed. She treates me like a girlfriend as in she will talk about them having sex and tells me some stuff that i wish she didnt, but i cant treat her life a girlfriend when i tell her something about my life or bf she flips out like she usually does? And now some stuff in my life is going wrong and when i try and talk to her about it she just blows me off saying that it will be fine and walks away. Why is she acting like this and how can i get her to let me treat her like a gf as well so its both ways?

She shouldnt be discussing her sex life with her 14 year old. She sould be treating you like a daughter and not as a friend, just because you wont be able to undersand when she gives you an order or tells you what to do,they’ll feel asthough it’s okay not to listen because you guys are “friends”. I think it’s cool when a mother can treat their daughter or any of their kids as a buddy, but sometimes children cant see the line and cant tell when to take what they say as they’re a parents or as if they’re a friend.

What kind of things are you telling her abou your boyfriend? Mothers get worried about boyfriends, it’s how they are. She just wants you to besafe and not engage in anything that could cause later problems, if you see what I mean.

You should be happy for her, she might be reliving the ‘old days’ that she missed. Just tell her to cool down and act her own age. Tell her to catch back up on her responsibilities and manners. The only time she should be talking about sex with you, is when she is educating you about reproduction. Tell her how you really feel. Try to make her understand your point of view.
