Mono contagious?

Was wondering if mono is contagious, my girlfriend found out her roomate mite have it. And if she does what she she do?

It is contagious. Be careful with a diagnosis of mono though. One of my teachers in high school was diagnosed with it and for a year it didnt get better. She went to another doctor for a second opinion and found out that she didnt have mono, she has cancer. They have given her about 2 more weeks to live. Pleeease be sure that the doctor is 100% about mono. I know that it is a rare case, what happened to my teacher, but it could happen again.

Yes, it’s contageous. Your girlfriend should probably talk to her doctor about a preventative regime.
