There’s an outstanding book out called New Bach Flower Therapies, by Dietmar Kramer. I think it’s on Amazon, and maybe the library. You should check it out. If you read the entry on Chicory I think you’d be astounded at some of the things that passage reveals about both you and your mother (because the author talks about how Chicory people tend to treat their children).

Who cares if she plans stuff? That’s what parents do, they plan for your future. No one is saying you have to do what she says. You have to learn is how to pick your battles. Exactly who is it hurting if your mother is going on about your future. Smile and say, ‘ok mum’. And then ignore her and do whatever you’re doing.
