There are many milk-like products available to those now-a-days for those who are lactose, there is even lactose-free milk. She should look into these products :)

Answer #3

Use Rice Milk (at Trader Joe’s and your local healthfood store, brand Rice Dream Also comes in multiple flavors - original, vanilla, chocolate). I was also discovered to have a milk allergy (which is DIFFERENT than being lactose intolerant, which many people do not understand) as a child and Rice Milk is my best friend. In fact regular milk is disgusting to me because I am not accustomed to the flavor. =)

There are also non-dairy cheese (such as goat cheese). Consider it an opportunity to broaden your flavors and try new things. You will find plenty that you like and you won’t even notice the milk has been cut from your diet because you replaced it with so many yummy things!

Answer #4

Try substituting milk with soy or rice milk. They’re are also ice creams, cheeses, yogurts and such that are made with these.
