Can you freeze almond/coconut milk so it will stay good longer?

My mom bought me 2 gallons of almond milk but I use it only on occasions and I don’t want it to expire so can I freeze it to use it at a later date?

Answer #1

As far as I know, you can and it will stay good.

Answer #2

Usually freezing milk isn’t good. It freezes okay but when it thaws…well…you know…yuck…

Answer #3

Neither almond or coconut are actually dairy, so you can freeze it without the end product turning up with an unpleasant texture, however, you will have to completely defrost it and give it a good shake before opening it because it can separate.

Answer #4

u can put it in the freezer then when ready to use defrost a lil then add some berries or sth like that an make low fat sorbet outta the almond milk or coconut milk, eg pina colada “ice cream” Frozen coconut milk (dont freeze it in the can lol) fresh or canned pinapple with a tad of the juice mint and a sprizt of lime ^^
