I just grab a ton of hair and put it up LOOSELY like not tight then I take strands of hair out after its up and make it look messy.
flip your head over gather your hair into a pony tail @ th top of your head take an elastic,put it around th pony tail,and twist it once then start pulling your hair thru it as if making a ponytail,but not all th way,it should make sorta a messy loop. then take th elastic,twist it once or twice,and wrap it around th loop. you can pull strands out of it it takes a few tries to get it rite. hard to explain w/o a diagram hope I helped
just randomly grab all your hair and hold it wear you want it and put an elastic around it
