I’m no medical expert, but all the things you describe are probably quiet natural.

Women vary in how they experience the pre-menstrual and mentrual periods. But one thing is sure: at those times, your body is busy with all sorts of hormonal messages dashing around. And, just as in pregnancy, that could means cravings for certain foods (I was desperate for octopus and squid, of all things) as well as increased sexual desire.

It’s 100% normal. I crave water (believe it or not) just before my period as well as meat. It’s just hormonal changes in your body causing all these things. Also it is well known that woman have increased sexual desire during their periods.
