Why do men think a woman's place is in the kitchen or bedroom?

For all of those “men” saying that a woman’s only place is either in the bedroom or the kitchen, remember that it takes a man AND a woman to make a child, and that your mother didn’t have to give birth to your stupid azz. My friend’s little brother(he’s like 8) said I belong in the kitchen and not outside. I almost jacked that little boy up and kicked his azz down the damn street.

Answer #1

Not all men think that. Mostly you grow up hearing something, eventually you believe it.

Answer #2

Cuz they’re sexist and to be honest I would never be with someone like that. I plan to do something with my life and not just cater to my husbands every need

Answer #3

Because that is how woman began, we only used to beling in the kitchen and in the bedroom, but times have changed. Now not all men think like that, yes the old school ones do, as well as the ones who grew up earlier and learned this. But not all men do this, so lets not label them all.

Answer #4

I agree to this.

Answer #5

going back in time, women had no rights and no freedoms, so the kitchen was the place they spent most of their time, cooking for the working men. these days, males have turned it more into a sexist joke than anything, but boys will be boys

Answer #6

BECUZ THEY’RE STUPID lol jk but some can bee….. but you will find these days in some cultures its still like that.. ie: omish people

Answer #7

Because people are stupid and have no idea of actual history. Women have always worked. In the beginning they raised crops and foraged for roots and such. After that they always did other sorts of work. Only the rich women didnt work. And they had people to do stuff for them, they didnt cook themselves. It was only really with the industrial revolution when middle class women stayed at home and cooked and cleaned, while the men earned enough to support the family. Of course most people sleep through history class, so they are clueless. And so they look all idiotic when they spout nonsense like this. And btw, poor women have always worked. They couldnt afford not to work.
