me being overweight and my fathers opinon

im a overweight 16 year old girl and im fine with my body and truely I can lose a few stones but I just can’t. I have no surport from my father even though he would love for me to be thin because he reminds me that im not everyday whether I am eating a chocolate bar to eating apple. so ask you for avdice do you think that I should cave in and go diet for my health? or belive that in beautiful and fuck what father says?

I used to be fat and i know how it feels and it sux. At 6 grade i was 150 and i decided enough was enought, and i started biking. I hated it. I started working out. I hated it. I ate less than my brother who was in 3rd grade. I hated. In 9th grd i started on distance running running 6 miles a day, again i hated it. Im in 10th now and im very good looking and in very good shape. I cant tell you how cool it is to get comments like, “hey you were that chubby kid, wow you changed a lot, you’re looking good. I hated the first few months but you will get used to it. You have to give up everything to do it and you’re body will hopefully change (i was lucky that i had the luxury of filling in to my body). You’re motabolism is the highest now than it will ever be so its now or never. Nowdont let you dad put you down and its up to you whether yu want to lose weight. But i know what it feels like and was tortured for years about being overweight. I feel that you dont and shouldn’t have to lose the weight but you should consider it. It cant hurt you to lose weight the right way and although its difficult is worth it. I hope this helps and you make the right choice, dont go bolemic or anarexic! My suggestion though is join a sport that involves a lot of running or swimming. Its how I did it

only lose weight if u want to, not just bec ur father wants you to. and maybe he’s trying to help you and protect your long term health, but its coming out rude. im sure he has good intentions but do whatever you feel is best

The only reason you should diet and get fit is if YOU feel you should do so. Don’t go by what other people say even your father, you’ll just get upset and aggravated. If you truly feel that you are overweight than watch what you eat and take up a little exercise. You are only 16, you have plenty of time to lose the undesired extra weight.
