What can my father do about bleach burns?

My father works at maple leaf and he just called me and told me that the bleach got on his skin and that it hurts and its red and it stings really really bad.

This has never happened to me or anyone I know before..

What do we do?

Hospital? Or are there any special creams we can get?

ichibanarky, he actually did end up going to the Health and Safety Rep.

It turned all black and green and burned pretty deep. I know it will take some time to get back to no normal. I just helped him get to bed.

get in the shower and rinse it off (just water) for 15 minutes. if that doesn’t help, take a trip to the ER.

Why doesn’t he talk to his Health & Safety Rep? They will know what to do.

hes probably having an allergic reation to it many people have an allergic reaction to bleach, but theres really nowere to complain about it …thats the disgusting thing anyway tell him to rinse it off imediently the longer its on him the more it will burn, and he could even end up qwith 3rd degree burns or worse
