How many teens here think that they are mature for their age?

☻☺I’m 19, I think I’m Mature for my age but I know I can be immature too…I think I’m Mature because I want to be, not because it’s a step by step thing you have to do like go get a boyfriend go have sex go drink go do all that stupid stuff…No I think if you are able to handle the things that you end up facing like saying “No” to things like drinking or whatever or at least be responsible for the actions you chose to do.

I have got Drunk once with my sister and her husband but I was at there house and I didn’t do it with friends, I was 17 and I don’t regret it because I learned from it, I got sick and got sick of the taste of alcohol, I smoked before but quit after a month, I never really had a boyfriend I’m still a virgin and don’t think that needs to change.

So there is mature Teens out there they just get confused and don’t know how to stop doing things that isn’t good for them or just saying “No”.☺☻

I’ll be 18 this year and I think I’m pretty mature. I admit that I’m a big time joker/prankster… you know, always out having fun, making an idiot out of myself and doing crazy stuff to make my friends laugh, or playing a few innocent pranks here and there - BUT I also know when it’s time to be serious. I can have a very level head need be. I’m also great at giving advice and listening and fixing things or at least that’s what everyone tells me. Me and my friends of course love joking around and having fun, but we also know when it’s time to get serious. We’re always there for eachother. When those times come around the joking stops and the seriousness begins.

I agree with in omnia, teens tends to ‘think’ that all of this make them grown-up, but you know…It’s not…

uhm well im thirteen, so im preteen instead of teen I guess… uhm at times I can act nine but some adults never knew that I was 13, they always thought I was 16 until they asked my age so… really it depends on who your around, because I am deffinatlly not mature around my friends, but I am around adults :P

I think a lot of teens “think” they are mature because they have sex, drink, and take drugs but really they are the most immature ones.
