Answer #1

augh isn’t that what this site is for. duhhh

Answer #2

did you just make this account for the sole purpose of asking people about how to take care of your pregnant dog?

Answer #3

on what day into the bleeding cycle do the females generally drop there eggs and how may days does it take to have the pups

Answer #4

The answer is NO. it just increases your chances of the tie working. dogs are like us they are only born with so many eggs, and each cycle so many drop and that is it. I have also had the discussion with the doctors I work with, they are a little more indepth with the answer but My eyes get crossed, but I can tell you that it does not make a bigger litter.

Answer #5

Do you know I have actually had Vets give me different answers on this question. But the answer is suppose to be no. The female is suppose to be bred at the time she catches.

The reasons for more than one breeding is to make sure you caught her at that window of opportunity. At the right time that she can conceive. The female is normally not receptive to the male until she is ready to bred. Now this is not always true in some of your smaller breeds such as a Chihuahua or a Poodle, which seem to be a little more flirty, when in the mating season.

The number of puppies is determined by the male and she will most likely have 2 to 3 puppies, like most Chihuahua’s do no matter how many times they tie.
