Manifest destiny

Does anyone know some political,economic and social reasons for manifest destiny.

yah–im studying that now, 2… manifest destiny was like when we, as in america, had like a dream of going like ocean to ocean or something? and we got all of those trails and stuff… economic was just 4 like all the wealth—oregon fever, california’s gold, sruff like that…there was also something about the ‘lure of the west’ and the mountain men leading the way…the abundance in land seemed to ‘hold great promise for americans’, and the land was viewed as ‘unoccupied’; even when there were native amer. and mexicans living there…etc… dont you have a history book?
