Maltese or Bichon Frise Which one is easier to maintain?

I’m gettong my first puppy soon and we narrowed it down to Maltese or Bichon Frise. Which one is easier to maintain?

Both require daily cleaning - both very friendly - Bichon is larger and likes to go on outside trips - Malttese enjoys inside and smaller areas more…I vote, Bichon.

The Bichon…you have to take them to a groomer, as their fur grows just like a poodle’s…the Maltese, can go to a groomer, also…but they mat horribly…you’d have to groom it daily, even with a clip…
