Mascara is NOT made of bat poo. That’s just some rumor a guy made up, making fun of what stuff girls wear on their eyes.

Its made of many diffren things. Some makeup is made of whale(usally things like lipstick) diffrent dyes to make the colors, water, oils, and it all really depends on the brand. Try looking at the back of the packageing or tube to find out the diffrent ingrediates. And as for where they get it, there just normal ingrediates they probly have ordered from diffrent companies.

Depends on the makeup. This site http://funadvice.com/r/c009i3ftd has got recipes on how to make your own makeup, body lotions, soap and stuff. Industrial makeup will of course use more professional methods. But must of the base ingredients are similar. Just look into the recipes.

Mascara is as old as Egyptian times and Bat Poo…well…maybe? In the early 1900’s they used coal and vaseline. Since, I think we’ve evolved scientifially (as well as health standards) so the ingredients have changed alot.
