What are the five major writing styles in the Old Testament?

I’ve been stuck on this question for a good amount of time and I cannot find it in my textbook. Any help?

Answer #1

I believe that would be: Act of the Apostles/the Gospels/Letters of st paul/letters/the revelation……

Answer #2

no, acts of the apostles, the 4 gospels, the letters of st paul, and the book of revelation are all in the new testament. the first five books of the old testament are genesis exodus leviticus numbers and deuteronomy. then the old testaments goes to the writings about the prophets like isaiah and ezekial

Answer #3

I don’t know if this is what the questioner has in mind, but I would say: historical narrative; poetry; law; homiletics (preaching, exhortation); and maybe aphorisms (advice), though that could be considered a kind of homiletics, or maybe prayer (psalms), though those are also a kind of poetry.
