Maintaing muscle mass

I’ve been lifting weights for about a year and I’ve put on a lot of mass im outside of the united states and the country im in doesnt sell weights or any type of exercise equipment and it does not have gyms im gonna be here for 5-8 weeks how do I maintain body mass or atleast slow down muscle loss using only bodyweight exercises and btw should I eat extra protein?

Answer #1

protein will make you bulky, but it’s good. just don’t over do it. there are many other ways to supplements for weights, like using full water jugs. try stuff like that. Google it. See what inmates use in prisons when they take their weights away (for security reasons) and some prisons don’t even allow weights at all, but they find some really crafty ways to work out.

Answer #2

protein isnt gonna do anything for you if your muscles arent torn from working out, especially if your fully grown, but its still good to eat it just not as much as you would on your normal workout schedual I dont think you will lose mass, you might lose some strength, but im pretty sure you can find a place to do pull ups and chin ups like on a playground
