Lump at the back of your throat?

What does it mean when you have a lump at the back of your throat near the tonsils? It cains:(:(:( and when I swollow it really hurttt :(:(( I’ve never had this before..

sounds like a abcest… I had that a couple years ago and it kept getting worse I couldn’t even chew or open my mouth all the way…I had to get it drained…antibiotics usually work though

I would go to the doctor as soon as possible. It could be many things, but you can’t just let stuff like this go unchecked and hope it goes away, you need to get a checkup.
