Losing virginity

I tried to have sex for the first time with my boyfriend, but it hurt so much I told him to stop (he wasn’t being rough though, he was very gentle and we used lubricant as it was my first time and he wanted it to be as less painful for me as possible). Later I was bleeding a lot in my underwear, and I’ve been told that it shouldn’t bleed much. The bleeding lasted until the next afternoon. He fingered me the next night a little bit rougher than the first time until it hurt and he had to stop again. We tried having sex again but again it hurt. This time I bled a lot more and lumps of blood or tissue or something came out the next morning aswell. I know the bleeding is not my period as it stopped the following evening, and it wasnt as heavy as my period, also my period isnt due for two weeks and it’s usually very accurate. Why is it hurting so much and why am I bleeding so much?

Well, the hymen is a very thin layer of skin on the outside of the vagina covering about half of the vaginal entrance. There is NO layer of skin on the inside of the vagina that breaks, it’s all on the outside. I bled quite a bit my first time too. Some people say they only bled a drop or two… haha that was definitely not me. How much you will bleed your first time and how bad it hurts you differs from girl to girl.

I’ve heard sometimes it takes a couple of sex attempts before it’ll stop hurting. but don’t risk it. swing by the clinic and get a quick check up. it’s good to make sure you’re healthy.
