what is counted as a girl "losing her virginity"?

like I’ve been wondering this for some time because someone losing their virginity isn’t a medical term so what is counted as it? ok so when a girl masturbates it isn’t counted as it but I was wondering if girl on girl would be counted as losing her virginity or if it is only when she has sex with a guy? and is it the same way with guys?

hahaha… sorry its just that I know a lot more about what your talking about than you think, such as those “special things” have a name =P dildo, vibrator, strap-on (especially for the lesbians) but the thing is that popping the cherry or w.e you want to call it isn’t necessarily the same thing as losing her virginity since I have read things here on FA where a girl has popped it just by fingering herself but obviously she didn’t lose her virginity in the way I’m talking about. but yeah I guess that someone can only lose their virginity when having sex with the opposite sex.
