How can I lose or maintain weight and still be able to drink?
Alright, this is for more or less, advice. I am 22, 6’4 and I weight (depending on my night it seems) about 240 – I have my gains and losses depending on what is going on in life - I’ve been 260 - and down to 206 and up to 250 and back down to 240 mostly within a year, year and a half. (usually depends on what mood I’m in and for how long). I’ve recently moved and found it harder to maintain a diet while working and .. well.. thats it for now. I am stuck in the mind-set stage .. transitioning back into lifting and running. To mention I lost about 15 lbs in 6 weeks by dieting just a lil bit, and running a mile a day (having maybe one or two days off of running a week).. So.. now , I’m in a funk.. I prefer to take supplements when I work out for more than one reason - one, it helps with my workouts (I prefer to take Nitrix when I lift) and it helps in my mindset that I’m working out. So.. hmm.. money wise is what is bringing me down the most - I work, eat, drink, have my small entertainment, then sleep and do it all over again. I do want this to be apart of my life, sure. I like it, but its about my mood.. right now I want to , but I’m not feeling it. I work outside, not too physically stressful but I burn a lot of calories everyday I work. I drink plenty of water but then I scratch it out with beer .. yeah.. thats the problem.. work, beer, food, sleep – no running, nothing extra – I know what I “need” to do but I am just “blogging” to see maybe what step I need to take – I will not eliminate my drinking, but I may reduce it ((still in college and all hehe)) soo.. what do you, the viewer, think? – so right now I’m (or was) at 240 lbs. my goal is to be 220 lbs and more muscle than fat (by the by, I am male if you couldn’t figure that one out..meh, oh well.) Ok - advice?
Here’s what I think - Always remember many times drinking leads to DUI/accident deaths - broken homes/relationships - hurting the ones you love the most and not even remembering it - many times..I wish you the best !!
Oh - I know – that’s why when I do drink I make sure I’m done for the day - meaning no DUI’s .. I am a bit practical and just drink to unwind for the day usually. So I steer clear of most of those “stereotypes” lol.. yeah.. i know..
