How to lose weight when I'm already active?

I run track (winter and spring) im a sprinter and have a decent amount of belly fat and love handles. I exercise everyday for almost two hours(for practice) I also play soccer all year round. I want to get rid of my fat and love handles, I tried only eating dinner but haven’t noticed much improvement…can anyone give me advise because I need to loose the weight to become faster and, for summer. Please help me!!!

try eating several small meals containing whole grains, low fat protiens (chicken and fish), TONS of produce, and lots of water throughout the day.

Eat a balanced diet. Replace high calories with lower calories food. Walk or jog to school. Work out for example you don’t have to go gym but what about a couple of sit-ups and/or press ups in the morning when you get up. Well anywayz Good Luck !!!

I agree with Meganhead. Eating smaller meals throughout the day without raising your calorie count will increase your metabolism. Yes your body has got use to your workout. Try putting on some muscle and the muscle will burn the fat off your body for you. Dinner should be one of the lightest meals because when you sleep your metabolism drops dramatically so anything in your stomach will become fat. Do not eat 4 hours before bed and EAT MORE OFTEN if you eat once a day your body will compensate by slowing your metabolism down!

Watch your calories. Although your only eating dinner, you may be eating way to many calories. It might be due to your not eating all day.

you may need to mix up your old excersice routine. sometimes the body gets used to it and you need to push it a bit harder.
