How much longer should I wear my retainer?

I do ;3 But just curious if I should wear it throughout my life or if I’m fine without wearing it. But I do wear it at night^^

i think u should just wear it throughtout ur life cuz its supposed to keep ur teeth stright…but if its hurting u in one way or another go back to ur ortho and ask how long u were supposed to use it.

keep them on for the length that the orthodontist said and then keep them and wear them only to sleep. they told me i did not need to wear my retainers any more but my teeth started shifting again, same happens to a lot of people

I don’t recall if they ever have said anything. I just know that it felt as if they shifted when I take a nap or sleep a night without, but they seem fine any how. But ok, I’ll keep wearing them^^

I wear mine only at night, well I did.. I don’t anymore :
I was told to wear it every night for 9 months then go back to see them, then wear it once a week..

i dont have them but i think you will always have to wear them to insure that your teeth dont go back

I was done with mine 6 years ago XD I went back after a few months, but I don’t remember if I should contact them if there are problems or if I could ask about my retainer.

You don’t have to wear them for ever. Just try not wearing it for a week and see if your teeth move a lot or not =].
