What are the long and short term effects for children who drink alcohol?

So i’m really worried about my cousins! because my aunt and uncle always drink around the house, probably one or two beers per day and the children are always around watching and the little boy that is 2 years old and even started drinking some on his cup!!! and I was just amazed at how they let him do that!! So yesterday I came to visit and the little girl who is 1 year and 8 mths was drinking a beer right out the can!!! So i just took it away from her. I want to talk to my uncle and aunt about this very situation but i want to just not tell them it’s not right i want to tell to them WHY it is not right. So does anyone know what are the effects?

Short-term: impaired vision, coordination, and judgement perception problems heightened emotions hangovers loss of appetite

Long-term: loss of memory alcohol or drug dependency cirrhosis of the liver cancer heart damage nervous system damage vitamin deficiencies stomach problems (ulcers, etc)

young people cope with a large amount of alcohol without getting drunk like adults would. So if they are drunk then they have had an amount of alcohol that could potentially kill them
