How long after each meal does your food take to digest?

It depends what food it was and how much you ate, also how fit you are (fitter people digest quicker).

Answer #2

ok thats quite interresting :)

Answer #3

Like Renee said, different foods take different times and different amounts of energy to digest. If you eat a lighter meal you can generally digest it in 30minutes to an hour. Heavy meals with alot of carbs and fats take around 1-2 hours to diges.

Digestion is a process that begins in your mouth and continues as it passes through your stomach, small, and large intestines. You are typically still digesting your last meal when you are eating your next. The amount of time it takes for food to enter your mouth and leave your bottom is referred to gastrointestinal transit time. This varies a fair amount from individual to individual and can vary greatly depending on diet. The average time is about 2 days though it can be over a week for people who mainly eat meat to under 8 hours for people who eat a very fibrous vegetarian diet. Most people can get an idea of how long they process food when they eat a food that can not be entirely broken down like corn since the skins will be visible in their feces on exit.

This is a great question:) the human body digestion process has to do in all with your food going through your small intestine, large intestine, throat, stomach. The whole process could take from 2 hours to 2 days, or maybe even a month. After your food is then procesed into waste. ~hope this helped 8-D
