How long does the dentist numbness stuff last?

Answer #1

The local anaesthetic usually lasts for about an hour or two.

Answer #2

About 3 to 4 hrs in my experience

Answer #3

Depends on the dose they give you. Usually last around 2-6. And also on what they will be working on, like to pull a tooth or to fill a cavity.

Answer #4

It depends how much they inject you with. I have had 2-3 injections where the numbness lasted about 2 hours. But my last dentist visit Ihad to be injected 14 times and my mouth was still partially numb when I woke up the next morning … -.-

Answer #5

Depends how many injections you get and the dosage that’s in them. From my experience, one injection can last anywhere from half an hour to three hours.
