How long do chipmunk cheeks last?

Okay, so my dentist told me a little while back that I had toget my wisdom teeth taken out, meaning that I would also have chipmunk cheeks. So, just recently, he took out the teeth and I’ve been home for the past two days with chipmunk cheeks. Does anyone know how long these “cheeks” will last? Our school semi is coming up and I dont want to be seen in my friends’ photos with fat cheeks…?

When I had mine taken out the swelling became really bad around day 3. Keep icing your cheeks. After about a week the swelling should gradually go down. good luck!

Depends on person to person. Mine lasted about 2 weeks, my boyfriends lasted a few days.

Keep ice packs on it and get some Arnica oil to rub on your cheeks, that will help for the bruising.
