liquid nitrogen burns =/

my stupid doctor, decided my razor burns were something other then razor burns and decided to liquid nitrogen them off, I at the moment have 59 burns on my legs. Does anyone have any clue how long this takes to heal?

Answer #1

By the way, I was speaking through experience, as I’ve had cryotheraphy before, and have successfully used Vitamin E to lesson the scars. I’ve also used Vitamin E to 99% erase a scar left by a closed piercing on my face.

You must have pretty strange-looking razor burns for the doctor to think that they may be something else. However, before the doctor performed the cryotheraphy, have you ever tried telling him that they were just razor burns? If you didn’t and you trusted his diagnosis, then you probably don’t have razor burns and it’s what the doctor think it is. Don’t put the blame on him.

The healing period for cryotheraphy depends on many things. But treat them as any burn wound, so it should take a few weeks to a month, maybe even more. Try rubbing Vitamin E cream on the burns after it’s scabbed over to lessen the chance of scars later.
