Liposuction is still very painful

I just got liposuction on my belly over a week ago and it still hurts. The doc claims the scar tissue needs a while to settle in before you can return to normal. Do you know of any remedy to elevate the pain and heal the tissue? It feels like a knife ripping through my sides at times - very painful!

well of course it going to still hurt!! just let the pain take its course and u’ll be fine!!

There will definitely be discomfort, especially when the procedure is highly invasive. You can dope with it better with the help of painkillers. Talk to your doctor about it. Hello! Of course an incision will bring pain! Painkilllers is an option, while a compress garment would reduce the recovery period as well as bruising and swelling! But the amount of pain has to do with the technique you opted for.. there are minimum invasive techniques (for example some laser/ultrasound based techniques that don’t include incisions in order to carry out Liposuction! In any case, the scars will remove, the pain will reduce pretty soon! Please tell me if you wear a compress garment! It can make BIG difference!

There are many things you can do! please apply a topical cream that contains arnica (google it to find more info). Avoid drinking because this dehydrates your body and this is not good for your scars to heal! Besides wearing a compression garment would be a great choice in order to let your wounds heal as soon as possible!
