Lip piercing! Is it infected??

Ok I got 2 questions 1:I berly got my lip pierced and they told me it would get red and swollen and stuff but the redness is startin to go away and I got just a lil yellow. Is that bad? 2: ok I have a stud and in the inside of my mouth its like going in into my skin is it to tight? Or is it because its swollen up around it?

  1. You need to worry when it’s green. Keep it clean, if you have any doubts, you can always go back to the piercer. H2Ocean is a really good salt solution to use.

  2. The stud is probably too short. You need it a little longer when you first get it pierced to accommodate swelling… if it’s going into your skin, you need to go back to your piercer and have them switch the stud/ring.

I had the same thinq. I cleaned mines with anitbacterial soap, dont use alchohol tho. to me it seems fine, but yuh do need to qet LONGER one. try a 14q. or 16q(:

yeah I just got mine pierced about last month and yllow stuff is normal and yes yu need a longer rod if its going into the skin. also my piercer told m that making yer own salt solution works best. just sonme warm watr and mix it in with non iodized salt and get a cutip and clean around the outside of the ring and gargle it also. hope this helps =))
