How would you go about learning philosophy?

Answer #1

I’d take a class for it, I’m sure college offers it.

Answer #2

Hi.Try to go to a library and pick a relatively easy philosophy book to read.Or an introduction to Philosophy to get the feel about what it’s all about. And I’m sure that if you just read it seriously you’ll have an idea about what they’re trying to say.And get a notebook out write down YOUR ideas and just compare them with their ideas. The more your read about a subject the more familiar you will get with it.Second, try joining a philosophy forum online where you can chat or answer questions much like this site, concerning philosophy. And when you feel confident, take up a class at uni.You will get the chance to write papers concerning this subject.I hope this helps.

Answer #3

I’d definitely take a course in it. My boyfriend took a course in it in high school he greatly enjoyed it and learned a lot from it and then decided to take it again in University. Or you would go to your library search up some books, usually though, from what I’ve seen, most philosophy books require a LOT of reading if you’re up for that.
