There are some free guides online for helping to learn Japanese. At one point I had them bookmarked, but sadly lost the link. I bet you could find them again with a bit of googling.

Watch anime.

Answer #3

Yes! Learning Japanese from Anime is the way I did it. I’ve been watching atleast 3 episodes of anime a week for a year, and I’m getting better and better at Japanese. I’m not fluent, but if you say an english word, a lot of times, I can say it in Japanese. Go on, say a word ^^

i use a program called byki. it’s free and all you have to do is click japanese for which language you want to learn.

i also use a site called smart.fm it’s a cool site because people makes these lists for the different languages they want to teach. one of the cool things about it though is that there’s a button that you click on to get the correct pronounciation

hope this helps

I had wanted to learn Japanese for a long time then I just called Pimsleur on this number 877-566-2629 and they were great in recommending me a course that suited my needs.

I’m almost finished with the CDs, but I have learned more Japanese with these CDs than with the 5+ Learn Japanese books I have bought and attempted to read. This is the real deal. I am planning on purchasing the rest of the series when I get a chance.

If you want to actually speak Japanese, buy these CDs. Even after the first lesson, you can easily see that the method works. I have tried many times to learn Japanese over the years (using books), completely unsuccessfully. After listening to these CDs, I can honestly say I feel more confident in my language learning skills. Although I haven’t learned enough to actually hold a conversation, I can see the potential. The CD’s teach you how to think in Japanese, not just translate word-for-word. The process is very fluid and natural and it is also lots of fun. Who knew learning a language could be fun?

It’s great that you can absorb a new language effortlessly without any reading, writing or computer use. I put them onto my iPod and listen while I am driving and jogging. So many other courses require you to sit at a study desk. Definitely not for me.

If you want to learn Japanese do what I did and call toll free 877-566-2629.

You will be fluent in Japanese before you know it.
