Japanese or Chinese

I am thinking of taking up one of these languages could you give me some advice ?

I was learning arabic for some time, I can read and write, but it is very difficult learn new words cause sometimes you write syllabils and sometimes not so it is a mess

which one is easier ? japanese or chinese ? and which one is more useful ? I speak english, german, spanish, and lil bit of russian and arabic

Hmm, to be practical I would say Chinese. I mean, no offence to anyone, but Japanese is useful if you’re intending to study in Japan or for the interest. Chinese would be practical I guess. But just my opinion. If it’s simply for interest, then either way go ahead! :)

I don’t know just take Chinese. Chinese language is the most popular language in the world since so many people live there.

Why Japanese? I think its the same what language you learn, they are both hard :)
