What is the best way to kill a wild hog/s?

I STRONGLY suggest contacting your local conservation officer and making him aware of the situation before you do anything. Get answeres from him / her first in order to stay out of trouble. I’ve seen documentarys about these wild hogs becoming a real problem and dangerous. Many states have declared open season on them in order to thin them out. It’s quite possible there are local volunteers in your area willing to take care of it for you. Also, the meat is actually being used to feed the hungry in many cases. ( I think it would be safer to eat rather than the chemically loaded processed stuff we eat now.)

Haha, heres the thing. I live in an area with no governing body. Technically speaking, that is. I live 40 miles from any recognized town, and live in a small community amidst the headwaters of the guadalupe river. My coworker shoots them nightly, and its up to us to fend for our safety. We are out of touch with the world, and the world is out of touch with us.

perhaps have your coworker shoot a few more nightly-OR there are live traps that can be built to capture a bunch of hogs at the same time, once confined to a pen it will be easier to shoot the whole bunch of them at once. once that is done i would invite the neighbors for a hog feed VERY GOOD EATIN’.

Get a bow and some arrows, and make it a hobby.
