What causes adult autism?

I’m not sure what causes it, but I think it’s wonderful that people think like that.. instead of things that arn’t really nessisary like what ofit should you wear, what this celbrity did, etc.. wish there was more who’d think about the world around them, you know?

What Causes Autism?

The exact cause of autism is not known, but research has pointed to several possible factors, including genetics (heredity), certain types of infections, and problems occurring at birth.

Children with autism have abnormal timing of the growth of their brains. Early in childhood, the brains of autistic children grow faster and larger than those of normal children. Later, when normal children’s brains get bigger and better organized, autistic kids’ brains grow more slowly.

Simple answer: Adult Autism is caused by childhood Autism. No one knows how Autism is caused but I know its not caused after the child is born (im Autistic and always have been I also have CP ) … I think fast too, my brain doesnt stop. thats why im up @ almost 5am writing I cant sleep and im motivated to help people now. Dear helpster1, Yes, amblessed has some good information there for you. It is untrue that it is cause by vaccinations this has been proven to be incorrect. The biggest hurdle with autism is to control your emotions and learning to socialize. Your are very high functioning so you fall into a category that can be helped with learning strategies. You have a great attitude and will no doubt be very successful in what every you do. Sue…good luck
